What's in the 2018 City of Toronto Budget

A brilliant panel has been assembled to speak to the upcoming Toronto Budget Saturday Dec. 9th at LAMP in the community room at noon.
There will be a presentation and then we will break out into groups with the presenters.
 
LAMP is co-hosting a meeting to present what's in the city budget 2018. An impressive panel will explain how the Toronto budget will impact our transit, affordable housing, people on fixed incomes etc. The event is a collaboration between the Social Planning Council, LAMP, Women’s Habitat, South Etobicoke Legal Services  and Stonegate Community Health Centre. A light lunch will be served. Featured speakers include John Stapleton expert on income security, Geordie Dent, Executive Director of the Federation of Metro Tenants Association, Public Transit activist Steve Munro , TTC Riders Executive Director Shelagh Pizey-Allen and Leila Sarangi Manager Community Programs Women’s Habitat.
