Affordable Housing is a project a group of dedicated Etobicoke Lakeshore Volunteers have been working on for the past year. They are building possibilities for the future to develop models to meet a wide range of community needs. Join them Wednesday February 27 @ 7 pm and start the new year contributing to your community. Some interesting projects are in the works. The community led group has come up with some exciting opportunities and sites to get needed mixed rent geared to income housing built in South Etobicoke. Our goal is to increase the supply of affordable housing. A new focus for a sub committee of the group is supporting tenants who are on the verge of homelessness, living in precarious housing (too many people in unsuitable living space.) Everyone welcome.

Affordable housing meeting wednesday February 27 at 7 pm at LAMP 185 Fifth Street. Join community volunteers to build new rent geared to income housing in South Etobicoke. Also exploring way to support tenants on the verge of losing their homes.

Our Community Needs Your Support

Every little bit helps. You may not think you make much of a difference, but in the words of those who use LAMP CHC’s services:

"Everyday we come to LAMP CHC, life gets a little easier to get back on track. We would have just given up if it wasn’t for them."
