Join us from 5 pm to 8:30 pm Tuesday June 4, 2019 for an evening of celebration, music, dance and great food on the lawn 185 Fifth Street. Taste our special home made scones, BBQ, Lasagna Meat and Vegetable, Cabbage Rolls, Salads, Corn on the Cob and Cake. 5 dollars a plate. Food stations are closed during the ceremony from 6 to 7 pm. LAMP CHC’s 20th Annual Awards of Merit: Community Champions
LAMP Community Health Centre is honoring people, organizations, and businesses that have gone the extra mile to make a difference. This year marks the 20th anniversary of recognizing community champions who are having a profound impact on improving the health and wellbeing of our community. The recognition goes a long way to encouraging these community leaders to continue their efforts as community role models for others. It also inspires neighbours to help build a healthy, strong caring community. Join us on the Lawn at 185 Fifth Street Tuesday June 4 @ 5 pm. Help us to pay tribute to these unsung heroes. BBq, The Etobicoke Jazz Band, Tibetan Dancers, An Elvis Tribute Artist, Bouncy Castle, a Firetruck, Police Horses, A Silent Auction, and more. For more information call 416-252-6471 ext. 308.
Food will include scones, hamburgers and hot dogs from 5- 6 pm. Then the Awards ceremony 6- 7 pm. Dinner at 7 pm. Burgers or Hotdogs and cake 5 dollars, and 5 dollars a plate for either lasagna, vegetarian or meat, or cabbage rolls, salads and cake. Dinner is 5 dollars a plate.
This Year’s Honor Roll includes a new “Community Champions People’s Choice Award”
And a centurion award to the First Lakeshore Scouts for marking 100 years of community service.
