August 28, 2019

August 31 is International Overdose Awareness Day. The aim is to raise awareness of the concerning Opioid Crisis and escalating deaths and to reduce the stigma of drug related deaths. LAMP is going to join the campaign to acknowledge the day of remembrance from 8 am to noon by offering Naloxone training for anyone interested. Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose. There will also be a celebration of the day with a Bbq event. People will be able to write messages of hope on the benches outside the adult drop in. Please join us on this very important day.
