If self care and wellness are on your list for 2023 LAMP has several opportunities for you to make that happen. Consider joining one of our wellness groups. Monday’s we host chair yoga with Blair, at 11 am in person or online and Monday evenings we offer online meditation with Corin 6 to 7 pm. It’s an opportunity for you to unwind and relax through an evidence based mindfulness program. All our instructors are certified. Tuesdays we offer wellness rejuvenation and relaxation with Mary a session where we will discuss strategies for managing stress and how to improve your mental health and wellbeing through gentle movement and breath work. Both programs chair yoga and wellness offer in person and online classes. This enables people who prefer in person or don’t use computers, the chance to connect with others in a safe, relaxing environment. On Wednesdays at 3 pm our popular Meditation coach Corin guides participants through an hour of mindful meditation online. This session has devoted participants who have shared that the guided meditations and support has greatly improved their health and wellbeing. Thursdays we offer gentle chair yoga with Blair and Fridays artist Natalie Very B guides us online on how to dabble in art to express how we are feeling. Basic art supplies like crayons, markers, pens or paint can be used. The online program helps us to relax and explore our creative side.
