Harm Reduction Practice
Our Harm Reduction Program helps people who use drugs reduce the negative effects on their health and relationships.
It is a client-centered, evidence-based program. LAMP offers services that don’t judge or force people to do anything, so they can make their own decisions about their health. Support to learn the skills and information needed to live safer, healthier lives through a variety of programs, tools, and useful strategies, without forcing anyone to give up drugs.


Supplies and Kits
The services provided include regular street outreach, supply distribution, kit making, safe disposal of supplies, condom distribution, sex worker supports, as well as drug and drug use information.
More About the Harm Reduction Program
Our services include: Safe Use supplies like: injection kits, inhalation kits, snorting kits, Naloxone kits, condoms and safe sex supplies, portable and discreet sharps containers.
Access to Kits and Harm Reduction Supplies
Kits and access to other harm reduction supplies are available without an appointment during LAMP operating hours at our main reception area.
Outreach teams are also going out into the community.
Fentanyl Testing Strips are also available during these times and through the Adult Drop-In. Other testing kits may be available as well. Follow up with Sarah or our Outreach Team as supplies may be limited.

What We Do
The Adult Drop-in aims to strengthen the community by supporting individuals in meeting basic needs, linking individuals to community services and income supports, providing appointment reminders, and decreasing social isolation by supporting the development of social networks, and providing skill-building opportunities.
COVID-19 Updates
The space is open for in-person services. You may be asked to wear a mask when working with staff one-on-one. Otherwise, masking is optional. Takeaway containers are no longer provided for take out meals. Individuals requiring a takeout meal are kindly asked to bring their own containers.
