We offer a variety of opportunities to be a part of the the LAMP community and join our team in serving the community and promoting health and wellness.

You are eligible to become a client if you live within our catchment areas which are shown below. Please see the maps below for our locations.

East Mississauga
Lakeshore

For individuals who are without status (current immigration documents) or uninsured, there is an expanded catchment area – which includes all of Mississauga. Please contact the Centre for more information at 416-252-6471 ext. 308. For trans community members, there is an expanded catchment area. Please contact our Community Health Worker (focus on Queer and Trans) at 905-602-4082 ext. 455 for more information.

We make increased efforts to make our services and programs available to our priority populations:

  • Racialized individuals and communities with a lens on advancing health equity to black, indigenous and 2SLGBTQ+ community members
  • Those living in poverty and low-income households
  • Newcomers, Non-Insured, Refugee claimants and those awaiting OHIP coverage
  • Those seeking Gender Affirming Care
  • Youth, Children and Seniors
  • Those living with Mental Health & Addiction
  • Those seeking French Language Services (at our East Mississauga Location)

Our intake processes include reviewing on a case-by-case situation, especially for those who cannot access care or service elsewhere as we recognize the significant barriers to health service some individuals face.

Some of our programs and services may not be able to accept new clients immediately and their may or may not be a waiting list for access.  We are happy to speak with you and when needed can provide other information to assist you in accessing care.

Our primary care is done with a team and a client-centred approach.  It is made up of Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses and we offer additional allied health services such as foot care, physiotherapy, social work counselling and diabetes education along with health promotion and prevention care resources – all in one place.

As a community health centre, we have eligibility criteria for most of the services and programs we offer.  For details on primary health care specifically, please see links below:

Some programs and services are still offered if you get primary care elsewhere such as our Health Promotion and Prevention groups and programs.  These are all subject to their own criteria and you would need to connect with them directly to be sure.

You cannot access our primary care providers unless unattached or transferring your care and meet eligibility criteria.  We do not operate walk-in clinic services.

Call to speak with or notify our Intake Liaison and you will be removed from the list. To follow up or update your information, please call us at 416-252-6471 ext. 259 or 416-252-6471 ext. 322.

If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department.

If you would like help get connected with other available services and programs please check here for resources and links.
