Our Mission is to deliver equitable, trusted care that enhances client and community well-being.
We offer a number of free community health programs and clinic services that serve clients living within borders across South Etobicoke (Lakeshore), Central Etobicoke, and East Mississauga. While are programs and services are free, there are different eligibility requirements that apply to specific programs and services. Service Eligibility
In an emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. We are not an emergency care facility. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please seek out urgent care with one of the options in our Mental Health Resource Guide.
Some of our programs and services have different eligibility criteria based on funding and do support an expanded catchment area. Please review our programs and services pages to contact us directly.
Our primary care services including medical care and allied health care are available to those who live within the boundaries of our catchment areas.
Catchment Area
You are eligible to become a client if you live within our catchment areas which are shown below. Please see the maps below for our locations.
East Mississauga
Our East Mississauga catchment area falls within the borders of Matheson Blvd. to the north, Lake Ontario to the south, Hurontario to the west, and Etobicoke Creek to the east.

Lakeshore
Our Lakeshore catchment area includes the Lake Shore Area which is located in the southwest portion of the City of Toronto, and is bounded generally by The Queensway to the north, the Humber River to the east, the Etobicoke Creek to the west and Lake Ontario to the south.

Please Note:
For individuals who are without status (current immigration documents) or uninsured, there is an expanded catchment area – which includes all of Mississauga. Please contact the Centre for more information at 416-252-6471 ext. 308. For trans community members, there is an expanded catchment area. Please contact our Community Health Worker (focus on Queer and Trans) at 905-602-4082 ext. 455 for more information.
Intake and Registration
We make increased efforts to make our services and programs available to our priority populations:
- Racialized individuals and communities with a lens on advancing health equity to black, indigenous and 2SLGBTQ+ community members
- Those living in poverty and low-income households
- Newcomers, Non-Insured, Refugee claimants and those awaiting OHIP coverage
- Those seeking Gender Affirming Care
- Youth, Children and Seniors
- Those living with Mental Health & Addiction
- Those seeking French Language Services (at our East Mississauga Location)
Our intake processes include reviewing on a case-by-case situation, especially for those who cannot access care or service elsewhere as we recognize the significant barriers to health service some individuals face.
Some of our programs and services may not be able to accept new clients immediately and their may or may not be a waiting list for access. We are happy to speak with you and when needed can provide other information to assist you in accessing care.

Student Placements
Enhance your learning experience while making a difference in the community!
As a learning and teaching organization, LAMP is committed to providing enriched placement opportunities for students looking for field placements, particularly those from equity-seeking groups. Students are recognized as a valued and important part of helping to further LAMP’s strategic directions.
We accept a limited number of college and university students who express an interest in working with LAMP to improve their quality of life by supporting people to reach their full potential and promoting our community’s physical, emotional, social, and economic well-being.

Interested in applying?
To be considered for a student placement, candidates must submit a complete application by:
Downloading, printing and filling out our Membership Application Form (PDF)
- Dowloading, printing and filling out our Student Placement Form;
- Submit the completed form:
- by mail at volunteering@lampchc.org;
- by fax to 416-252-8965, Attention: Saeid Salimi Khoozani; or
- drop it off in person at 185 Fifth Street.
Be sure to include the following:
- the names of the programs at LAMP sites where you are interested in completing a student placement
- if your school/program requires any specific academic or professional credentials of the student placement supervisor
- and, information about the structure of your student placement (when the placement is to occur, days of the week, number of hours required, etc.)
After we receive the above information, a program supervisor at LAMP will contact you directly for an interview if we have a possible placement available for you.
Community Engagement and Advocacy
A healthy community is an active and educated community whereby people can raise their opinion and find solutions.
We aim to provide ways for residents to gain information and take action on community issues affecting them. Currently, LAMP is spearheading discussions on affordable housing, recreation, transportation, and tenant rights issues in the community.
