LAMP Community Health Centre is looking for dynamic and committed individuals, who are interested in helping to shape the future of our work by joining our Board of Directors.

While we encourage anyone to apply, in 2019-2020, we are particularly looking for individuals with diverse backgrounds and life experiences. Complimentary additions to our board include skills in risk management, marketing and communications, leadership and governance and healthcare sector experience/knowledge. A focus for our board includes individuals residing in the East Mississauga Community Health Centre catchment area.

Board members commit an average of 8-10 hours a month, including attendance at board and committee meetings, and providing guidance and support through committee work and other duties, with the expectation of commitment to a two-year term.

In your cover letter please detail your interest and the experience you would bring to the position, including insights on what you find most compelling about the work that LAMP does in the community and why.

The deadline for applications is May 30, 2019 at 11:59 pm EST. Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted with successful candidates expected to attend LAMP’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) Thursday September 19th, 2019.
