Affordable Housing is a project a group of dedicated Etobicoke Lakeshore Volunteers have been working on for the past year. The Lakeshore Affordable Housing Advocacy and Action Group is full of change makers. They are building possibilities for the future to develop models to meet a wide range of community needs. Join us Wednesday March 5, 2020 contribute to the conversation to inform Toronto’s housing work in the years to come. Some interesting projects are in the works.Our goal is to increase the supply of affordable housing. A new focus for a sub committee of the group is supporting tenants who are on the verge of homelessness, living in precarious housing (too many people in unsuitable living space.) or in danger of eviction. Focus this month is on Seniors’ issues and affordable housing. Everyone welcome. Starts sharp at 7 pm til 9 pm
