On this Canada Day, please take time to reflect on our Indigenous peoples and the harm that has been done to their children, families and culture. A moment to reflect and mourn those lost to us and to demand change that will protect and preserve Indigenous culture and be accountable for the deaths of hundreds of children. Reconciliation. A time to demand restitution for the damaged lives history has revealed A time to demand government action for clean water and other essential equity demands the Indigenous Leaders have called for. We stand in solidarity with our Indigenous neighbours who came before us.
