January 31, 2022
Effective today January 31 the province is easing restrictions to reduce the spread of the COVID Omnicon variant. Some recreational programs and facilities will reopen with public health requirements & capacity restrictions of 50 per cent. Proof of vaccination will be required. Social gathering limits will increase to 10 indoors and 25 outdoors. With the return to a modified Step Three in the pandemic, LAMP is continuing Public Health protocols to protect staff and the community. We hope to go back to more in person services soon but at least until the end of the month, we are limiting onsite in person services. These time-limited public health measures came into effect across Ontario in response to a rapid increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations. At LAMP we have fewer clients onsite, more virtual appointments, only virtual groups and more staff working from home. We are looking forward to the resumption of more in person services and appreciate everyone’s patience after two long years of pandemic, when conditions allow. In the meantime please review our online wellness programs and other services to uplift your spirit and increase our coping and self-management health care skills.
