As part of LAMP’s organization wide commitment to addressing and dismantling all forms of Anti-Black Racism (ABR) in our organization and within our communities, we continue to engage in ABR work both internally and with external partners. One such partnership is the South Etobicoke Cluster table, an association of 18 service providing agencies led by the City of Toronto and The United Way of Greater Toronto. Ongoing incidents of ABR in our own backyard and targeting leaders within the south Etobicoke community have prompted this group to take a stand. Please see attached for a statement on this matter. Today and every day we will continue to strengthen our commitments with aligned actions in the spirit of informing a history that we can be proud of. This is required of us in order to advance towards true equity, inclusion and safety for all staff, clients and community members. You will see this statement shared around LAMP and through our online presence. We hope you will take time to review and amplify this position statement. Thanking you in advance for your time, attention and support in naming and dismantling Anti-Black Racism in South Etobicoke.

Our Community Needs Your Support

Every little bit helps. You may not think you make much of a difference, but in the words of those who use LAMP CHC’s services:

"Everyday we come to LAMP CHC, life gets a little easier to get back on track. We would have just given up if it wasn’t for them."
