While the provincial mask mandate will end on Saturday, June 11th, LAMP CHC will still require staff, patients and program members and others to wear masks while in the Centre for the foreseeable future. At LAMP Community Health Centre, we acknowledge that the COVID-19 situation seems to be improving, as a health care setting that is frequented by clients who are medically vulnerable, we feel at this time it is best to keep the requirement for masking indoors at LAMP spaces for a while longer as we monitor the situation and plan for the transition toward not masking indoors. This may be difficult for clients as some welcome the day when they no longer have to mask, and may also be challenging for staff as we try to ensure compliance with masking in the face of the province removing that requirement. All clients coming to LAMP programs will be asked to wear a mask indoors at LAMP and we are happy to provide one for anyone who needs one. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
