The Mississauga-Halton Health Equity Community of Practice hosts a 2 day virtual event on Anti-Black Racism, Black Health, and discussions on the Ontario health system.
Featuring speakers Angela Carter, ED of Roots Community Services, and multidisciplinary artist and writer, Indigo Dowdie during session 1 on February 7th, 2023.
Followed by session 2 on February 8th, 2023 with speakers Dionne Sinclair, VP Clinical Services at CAMH, and Jenell Austin, Social Worker/Community Health Worker at LAMP CHC.
In honour of Black History Month, the Mississauga-Halton Health Equity Community of Practice is hosting a virtual conference “Dear Health Systems…” where we will take part in meaningful discussions on Anti-Black Racism, and Ontario’s health system in regards to Black Health.
