Are you interested in learning how to grow food for your community?

 Apply for the GARDENS Pod Master Training Program! 

In February and March of 2024, 25 participants from South and Central Etobicoke will be chosen to participate in a seven-week-long training program that will prepare them to be leaders in urban agriculture in their communities.

Participants will receive:

  • Skills in growing healthy food and teaching others to do the same
  • Opportunities to build leadership skills and potentially earn extra money
  • Incentive in the form of food cards
  • POD Master Certificate of Completion from Humber College and LAMP Community Health Centre

Training sessions will take place from Wednesday, February 7th to March 27th, from 6-8 PM, at Storefront Humber (2445 Lakeshore Blvd W., Etobicoke).
